DataScale has completed a project to automate the loan application processing at «Davr Bank» using the low-code business process automation platform DocHub, built on service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles. By adopting a business process approach and eliminating the need for code writing, applications created on DocHub are easily understood and aligned with business language. The platform integrates data, people, and workflows within the organization, making clients’ businesses more competitive and profitable. Logic and database management are handled through an intuitive interface, allowing corporate applications to be tailored to specific needs. Processes are visualized in a format that is comprehensible to business leaders, removing the necessity for deep immersion in IT aspects of projects.
This project was an important step towards increasing efficiency and improving the quality of customer service at «Davr Bank». The bank’s main goal is to maximize profitability and shareholder value by providing high-quality banking services to both private and corporate clients. Introducing modern technological banking products and expanding cooperation with international financial institutions allows the bank to achieve these goals.
The loan application processing project based on the DocHub platform was launched in order to formalize and automate the process of processing loan applications for individuals and legal entities. The process begins with the initialization of the application in the CRM bank user interface, after which the system sends a request to the Credit Scoring Service and receives a response, which is returned to the CRM bank user to generate an offer for the client.
As part of the project, the DataScale team, leveraging the flexibility of the implemented solution, was able to quickly restructure internal and external processes of the system related to loan issuance, taking into account the updated requirements of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted in October 2024.
The following results were achieved during the project implementation:
- Elimination of Human Error and Reduced Error Probability: The number of errors in application processing decreased by 70%, leading to fewer returns and reworks.
- Acceleration of Loan Issuance by 60%: The average time from application submission to approval reduced from 48 hours to 20 hours, enhancing customer service speed.
- Optimization of Employee Work Time by 35%: Employees can now focus on more complex tasks and client interactions, improving service quality.
- Phasing Out Legacy Systems: Transitioning to modern systems will save up to 20% on maintenance of outdated technologies and simplify IT infrastructure support.
- Increased Efficiency of the Loan Process: Automation of all stages of the loan process has reduced application review times, expedited decision-making, and improved overall operational efficiency.
- Enhanced Customer Service Quality: With online document submission, application status tracking, and faster review processes, clients receive a more convenient and transparent service.
- Reduction of Operational Costs: Optimizing the loan process and decreasing execution times help lower the bank’s operational expenses.
- Improved Risk Management: Automating the loan process enhances risk control as the system can analyze data and identify potential issues at early stages.
- Resilience to Market Changes: The flexibility of automated processes allows the bank to adapt more quickly to changing market conditions and client needs.
