DataScale has successfully implemented a project in Poytakht Bank JSC, having concluded a contract for the supply of Oracle licences and deployment of Oracle GoldenGate software. This project was an important step in improving the efficiency of the bank’s transaction data processing.
Oracle GoldenGate is a powerful solution that provides real-time collection, routing, transformation and delivery of transactional data between different environments with minimal additional load on the systems. This will enable Poytakht Bank JSC to optimise data processing processes and improve the quality of customer service.
As part of the project, the DataScale team performed a range of work including:
- Configuring network parameters to ensure correct operation of the system.
- System configuration: creation of a database instance and preparation of server hardware.
- Software installation: downloading Oracle distribution and its deployment on the server.
- Security policy configuration: creating users, assigning access rights, and implementing backups.
- Performance Optimisation: setting performance parameters, analysing indexes and using monitoring tools.
- Backup and recovery: setting up automated backups and recovery testing.
- Documentation and training: preparing customisation documentation and conducting training seminars for users.
- Testing: performing performance and fault tolerance checks on the system.
