Our colleagues from DataScale took part in the international Digital Tajikistan forum, which was held from November 23 to 25, 2024, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The event was supported by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Bank of Tajikistan, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan.
The forum gathered over 1,000 delegates, including top executives and experts from fintech companies, IT parks, startups, as well as representatives from the banking sector and retail. Participants discussed key issues of digitalization, including artificial intelligence (AI), e-government (e-GOV), transformation of banking services and fintech, cybersecurity, and retail trade.
One of the main topics of the forum was the support for startups and the creation of regulatory sandboxes, which open new opportunities for integrating banking services with telecommunications companies. Participants also had a unique opportunity to meet leading experts in the fintech industry and learn about the latest trends and technologies.
The forum served as an excellent platform for expanding business contacts and finding new partners. Semyon Popov, Sales Director of DataScale, noted the growing interest in automating banking business in Tajikistan, the unique concentration of Islamic banking projects, and the implementation of best global technologies in data storage and other projects.
