On May 19–20, 2026, Tashkent hosted the VI International PLUS Forum Digital Uzbekistan, which became the central event for discussing digital transformation in Central Asia. The forum gathered a record number of participants — over 2,500 delegates from 36 countries, including representatives of government agencies, the banking sector, fintech companies, and IT businesses.
DataScale attended the forum as a listener to gain deeper insight into current digitalisation trends and assess the prospects of the Uzbek market.

Roman Solovyov, CEO of DataScale, shared his impressions of the event:
“Digital Uzbekistan 2026 confirmed that the republic is confidently becoming a regional leader in digital transformation. We saw a genuine interest in the adoption of artificial intelligence in finance, the development of GovTech, and the crypto industry. What’s especially important is that today, people here are discussing not abstract concepts, but real‑world cases and legislative initiatives — for example, the recent amendments to the Personal Data Law and the adoption of the Global Digital Platforms Law. For us as a technology company, this is a valuable signal: the market is ripe for large‑scale projects and is looking for reliable partners.”
Key topics of the forum included digitalisation of public services (GovTech), the implementation of artificial intelligence at the state level and in business, banking transformation in Central Asia, as well as cybersecurity issues and the development of the crypto industry. Particular interest was drawn by the exhibition of innovative solutions, where attendees could “touch” the technologies discussed on stage.
The culmination of the forum was the awards ceremony for the PLUS Galaxy Award DU 2026, recognising companies and banks that have contributed to Uzbekistan’s digital development.

DataScale’s participation in Digital Uzbekistan 2026 underlines the company’s strategic interest in the Uzbek market and its intention to closely follow its evolution in order to offer the most relevant technology solutions for the banking sector and financial infrastructure of the region in the future.
